With 136 perfumes and counting under their belt, you’ve probably seen Xerjoff’s iconic gem-like perfume bottles when you’ve been on the high street.
But what you might not know about this relatively new Italian luxury perfume house, which was founded in 2003 by Sergio Momo, is that they rarely release a bad fragrance.
In fact, Xerjoff is one of the few niche brands that I’m willing to spend a little more than normal on.
With so many Xerjoff scents to choose from, I’ve rounded up my recommendations to save you some time.
Now let’s get to the good stuff!

1. Fatal Charme
I’m absolutely obsessed with Fatal Charme from Xerjoff, a floral woody and musky fragrance that’s perfect for both men and women.
Launched in 2012 as part of their Join the Club collection, it’s a gem that doesn’t get nearly enough praise.
It starts with a sweet, powdery embrace, enhanced by earthy orris root and a unique, slightly synthetic freshness from aldehydes.
What really draws me in is how it evolves on my skin. It goes from fresh and powdery to a warm, sweet, and irresistibly cozy scent, grounded by vanilla, amber, and tonka.
Notes
- Top: Sicilian Orange, Calabrian Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon
- Middle: Fruits
- Base: White Musk, Madagascar Vanilla, Amber
2. Accento Overdose
In my humble opinion, Accento Overdose is also one of the best Xerjoff fragrances.
Launched in 2019, it’s a floral aldehyde scent which white flowers lovers will warm too.
What sets Accento Overdose apart is the special Aldehyde molecule that enhances its notes, resulting in a creamy, warm, and slightly soapy aroma.
It really is a floral powerhouse with incredible longevity and projection that make it so multi-dimensional.
Notes
- Top: Egyptian Jasmine, Bulgarian Rose, Aldehyde
- Middle: Pineapple, Hyacinth
- Base: Musk, Amber, Vanilla
3. Gao
Gao is another top Xerjoff perfume but it stands out for being far deeper and more animalic than the other fragrances on my list.
With clashes of Spanish and Iranian saffron, it has a lovely floral and earthy quality.
It’s also quite smoky, thanks to the woods, resins and honey it contains, which give it a tobacco-like edge.
Thanks to the oud note, it easily lasts for over 10 hours on my skin.
Notes
- Top: Saffron and Oud
- Middle: Cypriol and Gurjum
- Base: Patchouli and Resins
4. Pikovaya Dama
This amber, floral Xerjoff cologne for men and women has gone a little under the radar if you ask me.
That’s potentially because it’s refined, soapy, and extremely clean, so Pikovaya owners tend to only bring it out for formal occasions.
Whether it’s the bergamot and lemon opening, or the iris and incense heart, or even the vanilla vase, there’s something about this scent that has always hooked me in a quiet way.
Notes
- Top: Bergamot, Lemon, Neroli
- Middle: Rose, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine
- Base: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk
5. Ivory Route
Ivory Route often gets mistaken for Nishane Ani and Chanel Coromandel, and while I can see the comparison, I think it undersells this Xerjoff scent.
Incredibly addictive, it’s dark and earthy, with strong hints of patchouli and sandalwood that culminate in a really powerfully adventurous scent.
It’s the kind of scent I would wear before doing something outdoorsy. It lasts pretty much all day with a decent sillage so it’s not about to disappear the minute you start sweating.
Notes
- Top: Spicy Notes
- Middle: Indonesian Patchouli
- Base: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk
6. Starlight
Starlight is the kind of fragrance you wear to a casual catch-up with friends in the winter over mulled wine.
It’s warm and inviting, but not outrageously seductive. Think, gourmand, rather than sensual.
Although I wouldn’t wear Starlight on a date, I still really enjoy the zesty mix of citrus, cinnamon and cedarwood.
Notes
- Top: Almond, Bergamot
- Middle: Amber, Cinnamon
- Base: Clove, Vanilla
7. Alexandria III
This powdery rose Xerjoff perfume blends rose with orris to create a soft, creamy aroma.
The rosewood and apple give it a mature feel, so if you’re feeling particularly elegant one day, spray Alexandria III. Especially if that moment happens to be in winter or spring, where I think this perfume really starts to shine.
All in all, it’s long-lasting and bold but you’re not at risk of overpowering anyone.
Notes
- Top: Apple, Cinnamon, Rosewood
- Middle: Lavender, Cedarwood, Lily-of-the-Valley
- Base: Amber, Sandalwood, Musk, Vanilla
8. Naxos
I’m not always set on fresh and spicy fragrance – they seem like mismatched accords on the whole to me, but they work well together in Naxos.
No single note overpowers the rest in this fizzy mix of sweet and oriental.
Ultimately, it retains that luxurious feel I associate with Xerjoff, while still pushing the boat out.
Notes
- Top: Bergamot, Lemon, Lavender
- Middle: Jasmine, Cinnamon, Honey
- Base: Cashmeran, Tobacco, Tonka Bean, Vanilla
9. Erba Pura
If you think Erba Pura sounds like a juice brand, it’s for good reason–this fragrance carries the same acidic, sweet and juicy characteristics you might find in Tropicana.
Somehow, it just works.
It’s intense but luxurious, contemporary but classy.
Who’d have thought white musk, vanilla and lemon would work so well?
Notes
- Top: Sicilian Orange, Calabrian Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon
- Middle: Fruits
- Base: White Musk, Madagascar Vanilla, Amber
10. Mefisto Gentiluomo
Created all the way back in 1888 for Italian barber shops, Mefisto Gentiluomo has truly stood the test of time.
Refined over nearly 150 years, it’s the pinnacle of gentlemen’s cologne.
If you’re after something a little more classic, this Italian powerhouse of a fragrance is worth a test.
Notes
- Top: Grapefruit, Bergamot, Lemon
- Middle: Lavender, Iris
- Base: Sandalwood, Cedar, Musk, Amber
